Obituary for Vincent Salvemini

Vincent Salvemini
After a short diagnosis of lung cancer Vince passed away suddenly in the arms of his loving wife Rosanna.

Vince was born and raised in Pacifica where he was blessed to be raised with his three sisters and two brothers, Doreen, Arlene, Jane, Anthony and Butch. There he made life long friends and memories.

After graduating from Terra Nova in Pacifica in 1967, he then enlisted in the U.S. Marines Corps. He spent six years serving his country and proudly earned an Expert score during rifle qualifications - yes, a perfect score. After serving his country, he started his career of over 40 plus years as the head meat butcher with Safeway stores.

Vince leaves behind and will be remembered through his loving wife of 37 years Rosanna Salvemini. His five children: Elizabeth, Roylee, Rebecca, Megan and Amanda. Six grandchildren: Michael, Kailee, Savion, Joselyn, Richard, and Jordan. In laws: Jerry, Christina, Matthew, and Jaime. His three sisters and brother: Doreen, Arlene, Jane and Anthony. Vince is now looking down on us with his Mother, Fathers, and brother Butch.

A devoted father, Vince dedicated himself to raising his family by working two jobs and setting the ex-ample of what hard work is. In his spare time he loved taking his kids to SF Giants and 49er games. He also spent many years coaching baseball and enjoyed playing golf at Sharp Park. He had many unforget-table vacations to Lake Tahoe, Reno, and Mountain Home Ranch, where he taught his kids how to fish and swim.

Vince had many friends, many stories, a ton of life experience, and was known as the “Video Ranger”. He would talk about how he got him and his friends out of any mischief that they got into. He left lasting impressions on anyone that he met. The man had amazing stories, loved a great bet, and was always a good sport.

Once retired, Vince took pride in helping to raise his grandchildren. He had green thumbs in the garden and gifted hands for landscaping the yard. He enjoyed going on cruises, vacations, and genuinely enjoyed the company of his wife and life long friends. Vince also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren at the park and catching a bite to eat at his favorite Chinese food restaurant.

Forever in our memories, Vince Salvemini is a man whom everyone knew and truly loved. His presence was magnetic, humor could make anyone laugh, and the love that he shared was one of a kind. We will miss you, dad.

All of our love,

Your loving family
