Nancy Lunsford Beals
Nancy Ray Lunsford Beals, 80, succumbed to Hodgkin’s lymphoma and died on Monday, October 16, 2017 at her home in Fairfield, CA. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 9th, 1937 to Carlton and Lucille (Payne) Lunsford. She earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1958. She worked as an illustrator, office administrator, and department manager before starting her photography company, NancyB…Cards, in 1995. Nancy was a pianist, organist, award-winning photographer, and devout Catholic whose faith steered the course of her life.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Lincoln Beals; 4 children, Carlton Biscevic, Richard Biscevic, John Biscevic and Camilla Biscevic, her brother, Carlton Lunsford; 3 step-children, Sara (Beals) Frampton, Jeff Beals and Charley Beals; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Her brother, Thomas Lunsford, preceded her in death.
A public viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 24th, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Oakmont Funeral Home, 180 E. Monte Vista, Vacaville, CA 95688. A rosary is scheduled at 7:00 p.m. following the viewing. Funeral services will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Vacaville on Wednesday, October 25th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a reception in the hall. Interment will be private.
