Obituary for Dionisia Margarita-Seno Florendo (Seno)

Dionisia Margarita Seno Florendo passed peacefully following a brief illness on Sunday evening, November 12th at the age of 91. She was born to Salome Sumaljag Seno and to Marcello Seno on October 9, 1926 in the City of Ormoc, Leyte, in the Eastern Visayas of the Philippines. Dodie met her husband, Servando “Fred” Florendo, when he was stationed as an American G..I. in the Philippines. They were married in 1945, and moved to the United States in 1949 when Fred was discharged from the U.S. Army. Dodie was married to her loving husband for 42 years.

She was preceded in death by her son, Roberto, who died at the age of 8 in 1959 and by her husband, Fred, who died at the age of 77 in 1987.

She is survived by her daughters Carmen Klucsor and Esther McArthur, and two sons-in-law, Ken Klucsor and Alex McArthur. She is also survived by two granddaughters, Shannon Geist and Michelle Klucsor, and a grandson, Daniel McArthur. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, Iris, Ansel, Abby and Lilia.
